MedicBK

clinical cases

for Russian Cardiological Society(RKS) educational project

MedicBK is a technical partner in an education project

Participants of RKS association get access to complex clinical cases of Arterial hypertension and Atrial fibrillation in MedicBK program
Doctors, participants of the project get access to the following interaction with clinical cases
1) A demonstration of clinical cases examples on an extra RKS web-page

2) Webinar discussions of case studies in MedicBK program guided by RKS experts

3) Clinical cases self-study in MedicBK Training Simulator and Clinical Decision Support System programs

4) Group discussions of clinical cases in MedicBK Telegram channel (the discussions are moderated by MedicBK experts and medical consultants)
Pharmaceutical companies get a new channel of interaction with doctors and an opportunity to differentiate themself by drugs and topical clinical cases

Webinar planned figures for educational RKS project

Expected lifecycle of an active user after a webinar + usage frequency (current statistics)

- 30% one-time use of the MedicBK program
- 15% once a month
- 25% twice a month
- 30% more than twice a month

Access to MedicBK as part of an educational project is provided for a minimum period of 4 months

Clinical Cases Simulator
- 100 + clinical cases with varying levels of difficulty for each nosology

- testing the current level of adherence to clinical guidelines

- formation of a "gold standard" that improves treatment outcomes algorithms prediction

- access to MedicBK sat and Telegram bot
Council CDSS
- creating a clinical case request by filling out prospective patient's characteristics

- modeling for several diseases associated with comorbidity

- optimal therapy selection based on evidence-based medicine data

- 10 entering patient's characteristics and getting the results takes less then 10 minutes

Producing high-quality evidence-based medical data in under 5 minutes

An equal analysis made by a health professional takes 5-40 hours

complete and objective database
- calculating therapies based on full clinical research databases
- using recognised clinical practice guidelines

patient's characteristics by nosology
- comprehensive check-lists used to evaluate patients and assign examinations
- a dynamic list of the main characteristics for a set of diagnoses
patient evaluation according to clinical guidelines
- data calculating on scales of risk factors
- choosing an optimal therapy considering a patient's risk factors and contraindications

prognosing adverse events

- evaluating treatments efficiency and safety for every patient
- informed choice of therapy by the doctor to improve treatment outcomes

MedicBK automatically determines patients' most significant risk factors, their absolute and relative contraindications. It provides treatment options based on current clinical practise guidelines (ESC & AHA for cardiology, NCCN for oncology).

The program uses a digital patient model to calculate efficiency and safety of available drugs and interventions in comparison with each other and upon a patient's health profile (by network-meta-analysis).

The digital model is built on databases from multi-centre randomised controlled trials.

INTELLIGENCE research outcomes showed a significant impact of MedicBK on treatment tactics that led to forecast outcomes improvement

A retrospective assessment of the adequacy of treatment choice in patients made by MedicBK, National Medical Research Centre NA Almazov, 2020
ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT04564118

291 patients took part in the research

2560 - total number of patients with these diagnoses in 2019, Almazov EHR; 20% – inpatient, 80% – outpatient
Audition of Almazov CPG adherence

Registry evalution of Antihypertensive, Anticoagulant and Antiarrhythmic therapy in MedicBK program
Prescriptions made by Almazov centre experts with the use of MedicBK services
Prescriptions were based on the key patients’ characteristics from EHR, previous prescriptions were blinded

92% compliance of EHR prescriptions with clinical guidelines for NOAC

77% of drugs/interventions were changed in relation to initial prescriptions

14 - an average amount of therapeutic combinations available for arterial hypertension (2-36 for every patient), the total amount of INN - 42

31% - more drugs were prescribed (that improved an overall CPG adherence)
