estimates drugs effectiveness and safety of the optimal treatments for each patient
MedicBK is developed by clinicians and for clinicians
Using statistical data, the service allows doctors to make informed choice of the most effective treatment to offer to a particular patient by taking into account their specific risk factors and health profile
MedicBK works by identifying the most significant risk factors of a particular case and provides a range of possible treatment options based on current official guidelines
What sets this software apart from others is that it performs calculations comparing the efficacy and safety of available medication or intervention treatment for a specified condition by using network meta-analysis. Each of the possible treatment options are compared against each other by taking into account the health profile of the patient.
The model is created on databases of patients from randomized clinical trials

History and future plans
The first version had been developing for 18 months
The model is developed by clinicians-researchers with experience in clinical recommendations, specialists of meta-analysis and modeling, in tight partnership with EHRA in Russia
Release about Cardiology received high evaluation by Russian and western experts, including the President of EHRA The pilot version is created with Ministry of Health of Russian Federation on the base of "NMIC of Almazov"
FAST UPLOAD AND CALCULATION OF SCIENTIFIC DATA FROM PUBLISHED STUDIES, DATABASES & CLINICAL GUIDELINES
Formulation of the request
Step 1 Clinician fills in MedicBK questionnaire with patient's main characteristics and risk factors of a given disease. Autofill function can be used to generate data from patient`s laboratory records.
Evaluation and selection of treatments
Step 2 The main scales and risk factors of a particular patient are estimated. Comparative calculations of effectiveness and safety of potential drugs/interventions are done. The information is presented in a user-friendly format with help of forest plots and P-scores. In addition, relevant parts from clinical recommendations documents are provided.
The physician reviews and selects a treatment.
Recommendations
Step 3 Estimated risk factors of a patient and the main scales are presented. Dosage of the chosen drugs with the reasoning behind the decision together with text fragments from clinical recommendations documents such ESC and AHA are also displayed.
